Property Description

The main entrance door leads into a small vestibule which then leads to a stunning open plan living / dining / kitchen area.

The living room features elegant furnishings by Michael Vee Interiors including two lovely 2-seater sofas and a large round armchair. The Sliding doors open out to the terrace and garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, hob, built-in fridge freezer, microwave, integrated dishwasher and washing machine (located in the entrance vestibule).

The dining table seats four comfortably.

The spacious bedroom contains zip and link beds which can be set up as a super-king or twin as preferred, with 2 bedside cabinets, a built-in wardrobe and large dresser unit.

The generous bathroom, features a large bath, separate walk-in shower (with rainforest head), wash hand basin, heated towel rails and WC.

Throughout the property, with underfloor heating in all the main living areas.

Garden and grounds

To the front of the house there is an attractive lawned garden which includes a terraced patio with garden furniture and sun loungers. This area can also be accessed via the sliding patio doors from the living room.

There is private parking for 1 car to the side of the cottage.  Additional parking is available further up the road.

Wifi is available throughout the property.The area has 3G connectivity and there is good mobile coverage on most networks.

Guest amenities

The beds are made up with 400 thread count quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen. Luxurious bath sheets and hand towels are provided for guests along with Scottish Fine Soaps hand soap, hair and body wash and a hairdryer.

Welcome Pack

A small welcome pack is provided which will contain a selection of sweet treats and snacks.  Sachets of tea, coffee and milk are also provided

Eating Out
The village of Gattonside is a ten minute walk away and there are two restaurants there – Seasons and the Hoebridge. Melrose is about a 25 minute walk with various cafes, bars and restaurants.
Guest Privacy

The Sheepfold is a detached property and sits on its own to the East of our existing 4 holiday cottages. If you have any concerns, please call us to discuss. There are open fields to the front and rear of the property.

No smoking or Pets

Smoking is strictly prohibited. Plus this property is a pet- free property (if you wish to bring a pet please see our other 4 cottages).
